Founders

Jason Grullón
CEO /Co-Founder
Jason is our Chief Empowerment Officer. He is a  Social Entrepreneur bred in the Dominican Republic. He's a former consultant for international development agencies like GIZ, unicef and UNDP. After his MA in law and business in 2015, he decided to co-create Virtū in order to help in bringing fairness and innovation to the production of garments around the world, starting with his country. He's in charge of corporate vision, social development and market disruption.

Guillaume Vaslin
CCO /Co-Founder
Guillaume is our Chief Crafting Officer,  he is a  French-German entrepreneur, born in Paris and now living in Berlin. He's the founder of eelusion (sold in 2013) and former CEO of The European Magazine (exited in 2015). Guillaume has a double diploma in International Business and a Master's  in Digital Communications. He is passionate about design thinking and arts. He's in charge of the creative direction, the designers relations and the go-to-market strategy.

Patrizia Vogl
CBO
Patrizia is deeply involved in fair-trade and ethical cause, she believes that clothing can be a tool for global change. She has a Marketing and Communication background and is candidate for a Master in Communications at Berlin's University of Arts. She used to consult for Vodafone Global Enterprise before working for the donation platform betterplace.org. 
Patrizia is in charge of brand development, its 'look and feel'  and define the ethical beliefs of the company.

Thomas Richter

CIO
Thomas is in charge of the Business Intelligence of VIRTŪ. His stronghold lays in crunching figures but most importantly understanding them. He holds a degree in Econometrics from Maastricht University and has gathered experience in multiple start up projects, including the lead of BI at myDriver/Sixt. He is in charge of the performance marketing & online sales at VIRTŪ.

COO
After 25 years in various roles in banking, IT and software industry (finally as Global Head Cloud Transformation at SAP) he is now pursuing his career in a self employed mode as well as in different networks advising customers on digital business models, open innovation and incubation and service design for user-centered services. Maik provides his knowledge about Euros, Dollars, Bits and Bytes for Finances, Funding, Operations and the Platform.

Sarah Fowler-Goldsmith

Sales & Communications
Sarah heads up the written word and communication efforts at VIRTU, both internally and externally. A native of the United States, now residing in Chile, Sarah has a passion for human development and supporting fair working conditions for all, regardless of geographical location. With a background in b2b sales and a masters in global communications, Sarah is grateful to put her skills to use to disrupt the materialistic fast fashion world.

​Patricia Madonaldo
Production Supervisor
Patricia Maldonado is the founder and CEO of Nanay, our production partner in Bolivia. Patricia and her production company empower more than 600 knitters in La Paz and El Alto. She won the award for Female Social Entrepreneur of the year for several years running. Patricia ensures our quality standard and the social impact in her home country.

Production Supervisor
Aníbal is a dominican fashion designer born in Barahona. With over 30 years of experience in the menswear industry he specializes in the creation of Chacabanas. In 1997 along with his partner Danilda Alcántara they founded Collection Uniformes y Más which has allowed them to diversify into the textile industry. Today, he owns an atelier and his fashion line Premium Aníbal Collection.  At VIRTŪ, he's leading the production and training.

Business Development
Maren’s task at VIRTŪ is to find new ways to improve and develop the business further. Currently graduating from her BSc in International Business at Maastricht University she strongly believes that business and social action are not a contradiction. Putting her skills at work for VIRTŪ she hopes to positively impact as many lives as possible through fair working conditions and offering beautiful products which can make you happier everyday. ​

​Sayuri Lau
Marketing
Sayuri leads the marketing operations and facilitates the brand’s exposure to the public. Passionate about bringing people together over a common goal, at VIRTŪ she does this through digital marketing strategies and event planning. Having been involved with social projects her entire life, her vision to leave a positive footprint on the world continues with VIRTŪ. Sayuri has a BSc in Managerial Economics and International Business. ​
